Cliff Samara is a New Yorker by way of Norway by way of London. Born in Sri Lanka, he is a dual citizen of Great Britain and the United States. In addition to speaking English, Sinhalese (Sri-Lanka) and fluent Norwegian. His debut was in one of the first viral ads done for Dominos pizza, where he played "The crazy rich guy". Since then he has appeared on Billions, The Blacklist, The Detour, Blue Bloods, Law & order, 30 Rock (opposite Alec Baldwin) and Louie among others. He has appeared in movies such as Adam Sandler's The Cobbler (Dir: Tom McCarthy, Oscar for best screenplay: Spotlight, handpicked Cliff for this role), Bushwick Beats, Ace The Case, Happy life, Couch, The Good Heart, Game Time, Beautiful Dreamer and Sofia Coppola’s On The Rocks among others. He also does Standup comedy in NYC.
