Shawn’s first job was a leaf raking business at eleven years old. He got a paper route at twelve. At thirteen, Shawn persuaded the local Domino’s Pizza to hire him. He sauntered in on a Saturday afternoon with his head held high, ready to learn how to make a pizza pie. It was glorious! The following day his boss told him that Head Office, upon reading his new employee file, called to say that “under absolutely no circumstance can we have thirteen-year-old handling pizzas in a 500 degree oven!”. He walked out dejected but determined. A single tear rolled down his cheek, he looked to the sky and thought, “There’s gotta be a way to make money... I know.
